Hester Garner is an international author of African fiction and non-fiction academic works. A veteran second-language lecturer and specialist in personalised teaching methods, she holds a PhD in Education. Her writing spans children, young adults and adults, with children’s books that use storytelling to support neurodivergent readers.
Born in South Africa, Hester now lives in Australia with her husband. She is a passionate proponent of life-long learning and, through her Be Thankful Project, actively supports second language speakers’ study journeys.
